Achieving a full-metal timepiece with the same original G-SHOCK shock-resistant structure is no easy feat. We installed buffering components made of fine resin between the stainless-steel bezel and case and employed a three-pronged lug for the band connection to disperse shocks to the connecting pipes. The stainless-steel case also features the same screw-lock construction as the original to ensure a tight seal. Dimpling applied to metal band pieces reproduces the look of the resin band design of the very first G-SHOCK.
